Corporate Partnerships Manager

Overview

The Corporate Partnerships Manager role at CodeHS is responsible for the full sales cycle of prospecting and closing deals with businesses that may do business development-type deals with CodeHS. This role is part of the Sales team and reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pipeline of potential deals with busineses that may do business development deals with CodeHS. These deals might be for sponsorships of licenses for schools, or custom development projects. Target deal sizes for this role are $100-$200k+ contracts per year with a quota of $800k-$1m in business per year, so likely 5-10 new customers.
  • Conduct outreach across channels, networking to find the right decision makers and influencers in education, CSR, or tech departments of large companies
  • Run an end to end sales process and document within the CRM
  • Help with handoffs to ensure success with implementation teams at CodeHS
  • Create proposals collaborating with internal team members and for external stakeholders
  • Help develop processes for this new role at CodeHS

    Requirements
  • 5-10 years sales experience
  • Travel - approximately 20-25% - travel to visit prospective clients to close deals as needed.

Ideal Candidate

You should have the following experiences and skill sets:

  • Track record of closing large enterprise deals and navigating complex deals with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work with open ended problems and create new opportunities
  • Demonstrated general knowledge of computer science and digital literacy.
  • Self starter, ability to work independently, and effectively across departments
  • Exemplary communication and organization skills at all levels of the organization

Compensation

The compensation includes a base salary and commission based on deals closed
